Muvoni Investment Holdings (MIH) was the holding company for the Muvoni Group of Companies. MIH incorporated Muvoni Technology Group Ltd (MTG) in 2001 originally under the name Ideco. The founding shareholders had been working together from the mid 1990's to develop opportunities in the bio-metrics market in South Africa, under the umbrella of Ideco Group. In October 2007 the company listed on the Alt-X board of the Johannesburg Securities Exchange (JSE). The Ideco brand was sold to Ideco Biometric Security Solutions when the company adopted the new name  MTG.  The group name change was effected following the de-listing of MTG from the Alt-X board.

The MIH portfolio of investments included wholly owned companies, as well as substantial shareholding in other businesses. MIH has had investments in the following sectors:

• Mining and Marketing in Mangenese and Chrome Ore

• Security (Electronic, Information, IT)

MIH divested itself of most of it’s IT assets and are embarking on new ventures exclusively dedicated to ventures in, inter alia, commodity trading,  property development, asset management.
